The comparison guide

Calmaura vs Nello Supercalm

Both reviewed formulas list 100 mg magnesium and 300 mg KSM-66® ashwagandha per serving. Nello lists more L-theanine; Calmaura lists organic fruit powders, monk fruit, and 300 mg sodium with Celtic Sea Salt®.

Two different ways to choose your calm.

Choose for the ingredient list

Calmaura may fit if you want the USDA Organic seal shown on its package, organic raspberry and lemon powders, monk fruit, and a scoopable 30-serving tub.

Choose for amount or format

Nello may fit if you prefer its 400 mg listed L-theanine amount, its flavor range, or its travel-packet option. A larger amount alone does not establish a better result.

This comparison is published by Calmaura, which sells one of the products. It is a label and listed-price comparison—not an independent review or a clinical comparison. Preferences differ.

The Nello bag supplied for this guide says 20 servings. We show it as separate package evidence below; we do not price that bag as though it were the current 30-serving tub. The supplied bag lists natural raspberry and lemon flavors, while the current published label uses the broader term “Natural Flavors.”

Shared ingredients. Meaningful differences.

Nello’s 400 mg of L-theanine is four times Calmaura’s 100 mg. That is an arithmetic comparison of the labels, not evidence of a fourfold effect. Matching amounts of magnesium and ashwagandha also do not make the finished products equivalent.

Monk fruit or stevia?

Calmaura lists organic monk fruit. The reviewed Nello label lists rebaudioside A, a stevia leaf extract. This is a preference distinction, not a claim that one sweetener is unsafe.

Fruit powders or natural flavors?

Calmaura names organic raspberry and lemon powders. Nello names natural flavors. A label can identify that difference; it cannot tell us which flavor you will like more.

An explicit sodium amount

Calmaura declares 300 mg sodium. The reviewed Nello label does not state an amount. Sea salt is not evidence of a special clinical benefit, and an omitted sodium line does not mean zero.

An organic ingredient is not the same claim as a certified finished product. Calmaura’s front package carries a USDA Organic seal. We did not independently audit either company’s certification or laboratory program for this guide.

Flavor is personal. Here is what we can verify.

Both listings offer a raspberry-and-lemon flavor. Calmaura’s supplied panel directs mixing one rounded scoop with 8–12 fl oz of cold water. The supplied Nello bag says to add a serving to 8 oz of water.

No controlled, side-by-side tasting is reported here, so there is no taste or mixability winner. To compare at home, use equal water volumes, the same water temperature, and the same mixing tool; assess sweetness, tartness and settling separately. Do not confuse those impressions with evidence of supplement effectiveness.

Compare the same purchase type.

Calmaura also offers multi-pack pricing on its product page. Compare any multi-pack or subscription offer with the same purchase type and total servings from the alternative; do not compare a discounted bundle with someone else’s full-price single.

Pick the details that matter to you.

Choose Calmaura if its labeled organic positioning, named fruit powders, monk fruit, and sodium-containing recipe fit your preferences. Consider Nello if its larger listed L-theanine amount or other formats matter more. Neither label proves which finished drink will work better for you. Read the full ingredients and warnings, then choose by your priorities rather than a claim of identical results.

A few good questions.

Is Calmaura an organic Nello alternative?

Calmaura is an alternative calming drink mix whose package displays the USDA Organic seal. The reviewed Nello label does not show that seal; that does not mean every Nello ingredient is nonorganic.

Which contains more L-theanine?

The reviewed Nello label lists 400 mg per serving; Calmaura lists 100 mg. Four times the amount does not establish four times the effect.

Do both have magnesium glycinate?

Yes. Both reviewed Supplement Facts panels list 100 mg magnesium with magnesium glycinate identified as the form.

Does either have stevia?

The reviewed Nello label lists rebaudioside A (stevia leaf extract). Calmaura lists organic monk fruit and does not list stevia. Check the exact flavor and current package before buying.
